Celina Lindland
I grew up training as a professional ballet dancer, completing my education as a homeschooled student in Evanston, IL. My passion for dance led me to the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater, and Dance as a Dance and Spanish major, where I expanded my focus to include contemporary dance.
My path took an unexpected turn when an unrelated accident shattered the bones in my right foot. This injury compelled me to explore alternative forms of movement to stay energized and facilitate my body's healing process. Drawing from my extensive dance background, I intuitively developed my own exercises, which I found both enjoyable and effective.
Now, as a Balanced Body certified Pilates instructor, I see how my journey naturally evolved into a fulfilling career. I realize that I was instinctively creating Pilates exercises that made me feel strong and revitalized. This intrinsic understanding of movement and rehabilitation has become the cornerstone of my practice, allowing me to help others achieve their fitness and wellness goals through a holistic approach.
